Lexdray x Playboy Reversible Tote
What happens when one of the most symbolic lifestyle brands in the world approaches you to collaborate on a bag? You say yes. We scoured Playboy’s endless library of assets from the last 60 years in the quest to design a classic tote with a playful edge. And we knew instantly when we found the print—a series of colorful matchbook cases from the iconic Playboy Clubs of the ‘60s and ‘70s. Travel has always inspired us here at Lexdray, so this nod to Hugh Hefner’s international nightlife empire, which amassed more than 30 clubs from Miami to Manila in its heydey, was the perfect bridge between the two brands. Staying true to our understated aesthetic, we made the tote reversible to a clean and classic black ballistic nylon. We also added durable hardware, a center snap closure, and two water-repellent zippered pockets—one of which is fleece-lined to protect your valuables.
We also completed a lifestyle shoot in Venice Beach to celebrate the collaboration project. Like all of our shoots, travel was an underlying theme. We shot using a variety of transportation means including a unique vintage Land Rover, surf boards, a skateboard, and beach cruiser. Featured in the shoot, modeling the Playboy side of the reversible tote is Playboy Playmate, Shanice Jordyn. Check out a few of the images below.

Ideal for the jet-setting watch collector—or anyone who hasn’t found one watch for every occasion—the Lexdray x Bamford Watch Roll is here just in time for holiday gift giving. We collaborated with our friends at Bamford Watch Department, the UK-based brand that specializes in customizing iconic timepieces from renowned brands like Rolex and Panerai, to create a travel-friendly watch carrier. With room for three watches and a watch tool, the understated case is slim and lightweight to easily slip into your bag. The exterior is made from our signature ballistic nylon and secures with a velcro wrap-around strap, while the interior is lined with a soft micro-fleece that folds over to protect your watches from scratches.

Lexdray Winter 2014 Intrepid Collection
Having specialized in one core material (1680D ballistic nylon) to date, we wanted to incorporate a new fabric for Winter 2014 that was versatile and durable enough to complement our signature ballistic nylon, but still fit with their clean, minimalist aesthetic.
What we came up with is a specially developed custom twill fabric. Reminiscent of denim from a distance, the fabric on closer inspection is actually a fine black and white diagonal pinstripe, which was created using a unique dying process. Its subtle sophistication is a perfect addition to the brand, merging utility and style. We also opted to exclusively use water-repellent zippers in the Winter 2014 line up.
The Winter Collection includes tablet cases in two sizes (standard, mini), laptop cases in three sizes (11”, 13”, 15”), a passport case, and a reversible tote bag.
