Troy Twins sporting Lexdray Boulder Packs

If you were like me last week and didn't know influential blogger Marcus Troy had a virtually identical twin, now ya know. Like Marcus, Ahmad Troy is soft spoken, intellectual and opinionated. Makes me like Marcus X 2. After my initial double-take, I couldn't resist getting them to pose for a photo with me...each sporting our Boulder Pack no less. Much appreciated Troy twins.

Camo is the new Black - Project Vegas 2012

With a steady flow of well dressed buyers, editors and chic attendees visiting our booth last week, I didn't get as much time as I would have liked to walk the show during Project's 3-day event, but I wanted to post a few images.  Of the endless booths and floorspace at the show, I was by far most impressed with "Project Wooster" curated by Nick Wooster. The aesthetic appeal of his beautifully curated section, consisting of mostly Japanese brands whose products could inspire anyone to love retail, will surely be adopted by trade shows worldwide.  Here are a few images I shot from Project Wooster.

On and Beyond

Multi-talented blogger, artist, photographer Vincent Tsang added a few posts to his onandbeyond.com blog last week as a result of The Blogger Project. His posts included some outstanding images from Project Wooster curated by Nick Wooster, Herno Laminar's new line designed by Errolson Hugh of Acronym, Staple Design's new line from Jeff Staple, a few pics of Pharrell and Project president Andrew Pollard, and last (though we were the first of these posts) some excellent shots of our booth.  Vincent's eye for great brands and understanding how to capture intelligent product images make onandbeyond a must read.  Thanks again Vincent.

Project Las Vegas - Feb 2012

Project, Magic, Slate and Workroom brought together a wealth of unbelievable brands, buyers, editors and talented people all around last week in Las Vegas. We were thrilled yet again with how well the show was put together and the response to our brand. Special thanks to Project and everyone that came out to show us support.  As a result of Project you will see our bags in a number of new curated specialty boutiques in the months to come.

Marcus Troy - The Blogger PROJECT

Lifestyle blogging guru Marcus Troy put together another crop of talent from the blogosphere at Project New York last week.  Dubbed, The Blogger PROJECT, the talented group included the likes of William Yan, Freshness Mag, Slamxhype, Selectism, Highsnobiety, Two Inch Cuffs, Por Homme, The Madbury Club, Denim Therapy and The Denim Guy. Marcus and the team from Unknown Collective shot pix and video during the three-day event and put together some amazing footage. We were of course thrilled to see Lexdray represented.  Thanks MT.

Project New York - Invite

Last week was the Project New York show.  It was an unbelievably well run event and a pleasure to be part of...as it was our first trade show.  The space where the event was held on Mercer Street helps create an amazing atmosphere that complements the aesthetic of well curated brands that take part in the show.  Props to the Project team for upping their game this season.  We are looking forward to being part of the show next month in Las Vegas.

Reed Space x Blitz @ Lane Crawford HK

From December 1, 2011 through January 15th, 2012; Reed Space has brought a taste of New York City to Hong Kong, housing a capsule pop-up with Lane Crawford. Lane Crawford is one of the most prestigious department stores in the world.  As you can see from the photos, they've included all three bags from our Lexdray x Boylston Trading Co collaboration project.  If you have plans to be in HK, it certainly looks worth checking out.

Lexdray Pop-Up Shop Update on Freshnessmag

Freshnessmag provided a detailed update yesterday on our Pop-up Shop and collaboration project with Boylston Trading Co.  Thanks so much Freshnessmag for spreading the word.  As they mention, each bag is offered in a limited edition run of 100 pieces per style...and numbered accordingly on the interior.

Lexdray for Boylston Trading Co. FLG Collection

Selectism and High Snob came out last night to support our upcoming FLG Collection with new retailer Bolyston Trading Co. Leading the Boylston ship is industry veteran, Frank the Butcher. Look out for their website launching soon as well as a brick and mortar shop coming to Boston in early 2012.
